Community Points
Every authenticated Silex user receives a limited daily point budget to distribute among the publicly LISTED projects and communities they want to support.
Your daily budget
- Level 1 starts with 5 Voting Power per day.
- Levels 5, 10, 20, 30 and 50 increase the daily allowance by one, up to a hard cap of 10.
- A new daily allowance begins at 00:00 UTC.
- Points have no monetary value and require no blockchain transaction.
Allocate and reallocate
You can put all of your points behind one project or spread them across several. Your project allocation can be increased or reduced throughout the current day. Reducing an allocation returns those points to your remaining balance immediately.
XP and Shards
Each Community Point used for the first time during a UTC day grants 2 XP and 1 Silex Shard. Reducing and reallocating the same daily units does not grant the reward again. Shards are internal, non-transferable and non-crypto, have no monetary value, and cannot be withdrawn or connected to a wallet. Read the full progression guide.
Top Communities on Silex
Top Communities This Week adds every daily allocation made during the current UTC week. A new daily balance does not erase points already counted in that weekly ranking. Top Communities All Time is the cumulative total since Community Points launched. All-time totals do not include legacy Upvotes.
Permanent project reactions remain separate
Each authenticated user can choose Poop, Fire, Rocket or Red Flag once per listed project. Reactions never reset and cannot be changed. They do not add or subtract Community Points and have no influence on Trending, Watch, Verification, or listing state.
Trending remains market-first
Daily Community Points may provide only a small, capped positive Community Points signal. Community leaderboard rank does not determine Trending rank. Sponsorship and Verification payment never add Community Points.
