Platforms and tokens

Ecosystem helps you discover platforms. A platform's TVL and DEX volume describe its protocol activity. The price, market cap and trading volume of its token are separate metrics, shown on an existing Silex token page when the Cronos contract address matches.

Cronos scope

All metrics here refer to Cronos Mainnet, chain 25. Cronos zkEVM and other networks are excluded, even when a platform operates across several networks. Pool identities are deduplicated by chain and contract address.

TVL and DEX volume

For VVS Finance, DefiLlama provides Cronos TVL and DEX volume for Standard and Flawless. Silex adds those distinct versions once, without adding their parent aggregate. TVL uses the explicit Cronos field, excluding staking and other chain subtotals. Volume uses DefiLlama's Cronos-filtered 24-hour and 7-day summaries; their reporting windows and update times may differ from live pool data.

Tracked liquidity and pools

GeckoTerminal supplies up to two pages of top pools per mapped DEX: at most 40 pools per version. Tracked liquidity adds known USD reserves across those unique pools. Tracked pools counts those observed pools. This is limited coverage, not a full protocol TVL or a complete pool count. An unknown reserve is not counted as zero. The coverage explanation shows how many pools have liquidity data.

Obsidian Finance has its own liquidity pools and also routes trades through other DEXes. DefiLlama reports its Cronos V2 pool TVL under Obsidian Aggregator and DEX volume under Ebisus Bay DEX (parent: Obsidian). Routed aggregator volume is displayed separately on the detail page: it can overlap DEX activity and is never added to DEX totals. TVL and volume exclude Cronos zkEVM, and TVL excludes staking. The TVL chart uses observed Cronos daily values. Its GeckoTerminal mapping covers a sample of its own Cronos pools. Missing source periods remain unavailable; OBS token volume is not a substitute.

History and freshness

Background jobs attempt to refresh each platform every 30 minutes. All visitors read shared stored results; opening a page does not call the providers. Upstream data can update less frequently. DefiLlama checks, source observation times where available, and pool check times appear on the platform page.

A dash means data is unavailable, while a reported zero remains zero. Failed refreshes retain the last successful values and mark them delayed. Values also become delayed after two hours without a successful refresh; TVL is delayed if its source observation is more than 48 hours old. Delayed data remains available for context, not as a current observation.

VVS history shows up to 90 days of daily source TVL. Only dates observed for both versions are included. Missing dates stay gaps. Charts are omitted when reliable history is absent. Pool history is not presented as protocol history.

Listing and verification

Platforms appear in editorial display order, not a proven ranking. An Ecosystem listing is not Silex project verification, an endorsement or a safety guarantee. Verified provider mappings describe data identity; they do not confer a Verified badge. Adding a platform never automatically creates a token listing.
